The game comprises of 4 shopping trolleys, 4 shopping lists and 32 item cards. Each player is given a shopping list and a shopping trolley, then the 32 item cards are turned upside down in the middle, starting with the youngest player each player takes it in turns to turn over a card, if the item is not on their shopping list then they return the card, if the item is on their shopping list then they put the item into their shopping trolley. The first player to fill their trolley wins.
The game is basically a variation on the pair’s game and assists with memory as players try to recall the position of returned cards that might be on their shopping list. This game also encourages children to communicate, share and play together.
